My Dell vostro v13

Sometime more than a year back, I bought a dell laptop, via Dell.com.my website.

It's Dell Vostro v13. Newly launched during the time I bought. Recommended by my good Dell's friend. I bought via credit card installment. They offer Maybank & Citibank 12-month free interest easy payment at that time.

Under the hood, we have a ULV Celeron 1.3Ghz. with an upgraded 2GB of RAM & 320GB of disk space. Rock-solid and super high quality magnesium alloy case, 1xUSB port, 1xeSata, 1VGA out, 1xSD card reader, plus 4 hours of battery life (still strong until now).

Initially I want to get Dell Mini netbook because I need something light yet responsive to toss around. I've talked to my friend at Dell. She recommended me a brand new V13 and gave me a link to the page. Once I've loaded the page I was totally amazed with the look. It's really really slim (at that time lah) and it looks so solid too. I immediately fall in love with it.

I decided to buy it after just a few minutes of thought. I immediately contacted the Dell staff and was offered an attractive price of just RM1,995 c/w Windows 7 Home Premium. That time Windows 7 is just newly launched. I chose Maybank visa 12-month interest free easy payment scheme as payment mode, and voila, I've got my new baby coming :)

The goods arrived in 1week plus I remember, all in good condition. I used for a couple of hours and I am quite satisfy with the battery.

It's just as good as I can remember, with some freezing screen sometimes, but I guess it was due to software problems. Other than that, it works like a champ and truly reliable workhorse until now.

And its speed? That's good enough for daily use. In fact it is ample enough for business use! I am quite a heavy user and I like to open 10 tabs on chrome browser, fireworks graphic program, words, msn, skype at the same time and it still capable.

If you are looking for a tough and lightweight business notebook with adequate performance and good battery life, go grab this baby. It has been upgrade to V130 model but the built is still same. Go check out at Malaysian Dell.com.my website now ;).
